There is a good map from Championship 2007. There is mostly white open forest with nice scandinavian marches. Another side - orienteering there is not hard. High speed helps a lot with this side but not now.

Real winter
On Saturday I was on Belarussian middle Champ 2007 map. Again in my hometown. I ran middle distance training. It was 6.1k with 18 controls. A few days ago we had rain. So now snow has the crust. In the marches it was 30-40 of snow and it was not so easy to run and breake quite hard crust. This kind of running works effectively but only by smart way. I must be careful with this.
